When you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address and any other details the signup form asks for. We may also add business contacts who have previously corresponded with us to our newsletter list; every issue includes an unsubscribe link.

Our website platform collects this through cookies and similar technologies to operate the site and provide us with aggregate traffic statistics.

How we use it

We use contact form submissions to respond to your inquiry. We use newsletter subscriptions to send you our newsletter. We use technical data to keep the site working and to understand overall traffic. We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Service providers who receive your information

We share information only with the companies that run the tools behind the site: Squarespace, which hosts the website, processes form submissions, and provides site statistics; Google Workspace, which hosts our email; and Mailchimp, which manages our newsletter list and delivery and records whether newsletters are opened and which links are clicked. Each of these providers handles data under its own privacy policy. We may also disclose information when required by law.

Third-party tracking and Do Not Track

We do not allow advertising networks or other third parties to use our site to track your activity across other websites. Our site does not respond differently to browser "Do Not Track" signals, because we do not engage in cross-site tracking.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any issue. To review, correct, or delete the information we hold about you, email us at alex@heliodorus.com.

Data security and retention

We use reasonable safeguards to protect the information we receive and keep it only as long as needed for the purposes above.

Children

This site is intended for business professionals and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from individuals under 18.
